The ESAB Renegade VOLT is a revolutionary cordless, battery powered Stick (SMAW) and Live TIG (GTAW) welder.
It can operate in 3 different modes: battery, mains and AMP+ hybrid.
ESAB Renegade VOLT is powered exclusively by DEWALT FLEXVOLT batteries. (It runs on 6Ah, 9Ah and 12Ah batteries) 4x 12 Ah batteries are included in the ESAB Renegade Starter Set. The cordless power can weld up to 30 electrodes per charge (with 4x 12Ah batteries). The batteries can also be swapped at any time so you can continue welding. The battery life is always visible on a bright display. This makes the ESAB Renegade VOLT a perfect unit for mobile welders operating in remote sites and hard-to-reach locations without easy access to AC mains power.
In the AMP+ Hybrid Mode, the Renegade VOLT supplements AC mains power with battery power to prevent nuisance trips on smaller breaker sizes, or to provide more output when welding on 120V input.
The Renegade VOLT is extremely portable and compact. It is 5x smaller and lighter than a typical compact welder generator. This gives you the freedom to weld absolutely anywhere. All this without compromising the welding performance. This is a fully-loaded Stick and live TIG welder with best-in-class arc quality, advanced features and user-friendly interface.
