Description

The ARC400 & ARC630 are heavy duty industrial Inverter welding machines, they utilise soft switch IGBT technology & have a high power factor making them very energy efficient, & they can make a substantial reduction in energy costs against many other machines. They are designed for industrial automated fabrication, & other applications needing the highest performance & duty cycle.

These machines are ideal for all MMA welding they have an open circuit voltage of around 80V so are ideal for celulosic rods & others needing a high voltage.
They can also be used for scratch start DC TIG welding or with one of our TIG boxes to give full TIG welding functions. The ARC630 model is also suitable for gouging.

A digital meter is fitted standard which displays the amps prior to welding; the voltage can also be displayed on this. Adjustable arc force is fitted to give the operator full control of the welding characteristics.
Adjustable start current is fitted to assist with starting of electrodes.
A remote control socket is fitted to enable remote control of welding current & TIG boxes to be fitted. The front panel switches have sealed covers to protect against moisture ingress, & all front panel controls are recessed behind the front panel overhang to protect against damage.

These comply with European standards and are CE marked
