Tex
Tex consists of non-woven plastic fibres that are held together by thermo-setting synthetic resin.
The abrasive grain is embedded in synthetic resin.
Tex products have a three-dimensional structure, with a particularly wide web.
This has the following advantages
- Tex is very comfortable to use
- Tex feels almost elastic in use
- Tex can be used with continuous pressure
Properties
- Resistant to heat, cooling agents and lubricants
- Washable
- Can be manufactured in all kinds of shapes, including rolls, sheets, discs, bricks, flap wheels

- Maintains its shape surprisingly well, but is also quite flexible
- Very comfortable for all kinds of sanding work
