Avesta 122 - Pickle Paste (Colourless / Thin Texture)
This particular pickling paste has been developed with high strength and low viscosity (liquid like) being its selling features. The low viscosity allows better penetration of the welds and often results in quicker pickling times and cleaner welds. The feel and look of this product may be familiar to some customers. Avesta 122 was developed for the German market since its characteristics are preferred by German fabricators.
Pickling explained
A term used to describe the etching or dissolution of the stainless steel surface (a controlled dissolving of the surface) approx. 3 - 5um are removed from the surface thus rendering the "new" surface a virgin surface and free of contamination from the fabrication, manufacturing route or product residue from service conditions.

Supplied in 1.3, 2.6 and 30kg Polyethylene containers which are type approved for hazardous goods..
