Avesta 120 - Pickle Paste (GreenOne)
In co-operation with Avesta Polarit's Research & Development, Avesta Polarit Welding has developed a new range of pickling products - the Avesta GreenOne range. These products make it possible to pickle and obtain optimum corrosion resistance, whilst at the same time preserving the shiny surface finish.
When brush pickling a TIG weld on a 304 bright cold-rolled surface using a standard pickling paste, high levels of toxic NOx and HF fumes are normally formed. With the new GreenOne pickling paste 120, these levels can be reduced by as much as 90%. Further, the paste, which is non-toxic, is easier to handle and distribute.
