West Country Welding Supplies have recently supplied a Hypertherm Powermax 1650 plasma cutting machine to Magnox electric (Berkeley power station) to enable the cutting of 35mm thick material This is part of the R and D program required for the decominisioning of nuclear power stations.
The machine has been supplied with both straight and right angled torches suitable for working in the shielded areas of nuclear PowerStation's.
West Country Welding have also supplied the on site training and back up required for a project of this nature.
