Ministry of Defence continues to buy British
Following a substantial initial order for 3" diameter Pipe Weld Purge Systems that were supplied for use in the Falkland Islands, the MOD (Battlefield Support) has subsequently ordered similar equipment for use in Afghanistan.
The current requirement is for the purging of 75 mm pipework welds.
Such size welds are purged with the 3" diameter ArgweldR Inflatable Pipe Purging systems which has a range of 58-84 mm diameter.
